Building A Coalition To Build A Trail Through West Leb

On March 1st the Friends of River Park– as a qualifying not-for-profit organization– lead an application to the National Park Service (NPS) for their Rivers, Trails & Conservation Assistance Program asking for their assistance in the West Lebanon Greenway plan.

That application can be read here. We hope to hear this month if we qualify for their assistance!

This application benefited greatly from the support of the growing coalition of groups (locally, regionally, and beyond) working towards this exciting opportunity. Many thanks to Lebanon Parks & Rec, Friends of Northern Rail Trail, Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission, Upper Valley Trails Alliance, Connecticut River Joint Commission, Connecticut River Conservancy, and Lyme Properties.
